Mission Service

The Masters Helping Hands is a service group at Lutheran Church of the Master who cares for the congregation and the community. All are welcome to attend the meetings the first Monday of the month at 7 pm in the Education Building. Here are a few current projects being undertaken. NOTE: Monthly neeetings are being held via ZOOM until further notice.

The group serves at Chris Becker Dining Hall, the first Sunday of every odd month. A dessert is provided for the diners as well as helping to serve a meal and clean up the facility. Chris Becker Dining Hall is run by St. Vincent's Charity and is located in the Sunnyslope area. (This program has been suspended due to COVID-19.)
Christmas gifts were purchased for eight children in Foster Care and will be donated to Christian Family Care Agency who distributes them to the families.

Easter Baskets were assembled for foster children placed through the Christian Family Care Agency. This was a great way to spread the good news of Jesus!

The group does not officially meet during the months of July and August.

The group has adopted the following mission statement that reflects its purpose and goals:

“To serve God’s church and community with love and compassion by addressing the spiritual and physical needs of its members.”
